Wall Reinforcement Design

Configure vertical and horizontal reinforcement layers, placement logic, and detailing for structural walls.

Chain & Wall Navigation

For complex wall layouts or aligned chained selections, use the navigation controls to define reinforcement span-by-span.

Previous / Next Buttons:

Enables cycling through various panels or spans in a continuous wall chain. This allows for unique reinforcement density or bar diameters across different sections of the same structural run.

Input Methodology & Layering

Select the Revit reinforcement primitive and the physical stacking order of the bar layers.

Input Method Area vs. Structural

Toggle between Area Reinforcement for rapid hosting or Structural Rebar for individual bar control and visibility.

Layer Order Bar Placement

Define the physical stack: Longitudinal Outside (Transverse Inside) or Transverse Outside (Longitudinal Inside).

Future Feature Edge Boundaries

Not yet implemented. Dedicated definitions for reinforcement at the left and right wall terminations.

Reinforcement Definitions

Specify the quantitative and dimensional parameters for both vertical and horizontal rebar sets.

Reinforcement Type Parameters Description
Longitudinal (Vertical) Quantity & Diameter Primary vertical reinforcement. Supports mixed diameters for varying structural requirements across the wall face.
Transverse (Horizontal) Quantity, Spacing & Diameter Horizontal distribution bars or shear reinforcement. Spacing is calculated center-to-center.

View Generation

Enable automated detailing by checking the Create Detail View option. This generates a specific cross-section or callout directly within the Wall Elevation View for clear construction documentation.

Interface Actions

  • Apply: Commits the current parameters and generates the 3D reinforcement.
  • Close: Exits the utility without making further changes.
