Bulk Dimensioning
Automate the generation of perimeter and grid dimensions across multiple selected views in a single operation.
View Selection & Batching
The main dialog features a checklist of all compatible Plan and Elevation views. Select the views you wish to process in bulk.
The system automatically highlights views that do not yet contain structural dimension strings, helping you identify missing documentation quickly.
Periphery Detection Logic
The "Bulk" engine identifies the bounding box of the building structure and applies dimensions to elements located at the outer edges.
Dimensions the centerlines or faces of structural members forming the exterior perimeter of the plan.
Automatically identifies the primary grid system and generates overall dimension strings between the first and last grid lines.
Column Reference Settings
Define the vertical context for column detection across all selected views. This is critical for structural plans where columns may transition sizes between levels.
Column Above Level
Dimensions the column cross-section as it extends upward from the associated level of the view.
Column Below Level
Dimensions the column segment supporting the level (useful for foundation or lower-tier structural plans).
Bulk Processing Parameters
| Checkbox Option | Functionality Description |

| Perimeter Beams | Detects the outermost framing loop and applies continuous dimension strings. |
| Peripheral Columns | Dimensions only the columns located on the building exterior/envelope. |
| Grid Dimensions | Generates total building width and depth dimensions based on active grid bubbles. |
| Overwrite Existing | If checked, existing dimension strings created by this tool will be deleted and replaced with updated ones. |
Clicking "Run Bulk" will cycle through each checked view. A progress bar will indicate the status of the geometry analysis.
