View Template and Sheets

Configure automated Revit view properties, scheduling logic, and sheet placement parameters for reinforcement documentation.

View Control & Properties

Define the graphical standards and boundary parameters for all generated reinforcement views to ensure output consistency.

Visibility/Graphic Templates

  • Section View Template: Assigns the default Revit View Template for longitudinal elevations (e.g., controlling rebar visibility and obscuration).
  • Detail View Template: Assigns the template for cross-sectional rebar details, typically at a higher detail scale.

View Geometry

  • Elevation View Type: Sets the specific Revit View Type (e.g., "Structural Elevation") for automated creation.
  • Section View Type: Sets the Revit View Type for detailing sections.
  • View Extents: Defines the crop region offset in millimeters from the element face.

Schedule Generation Logic

Determine how reinforcement data is filtered and grouped when generating automated schedules on sheets.

Active By Sheet

Filters the schedule to only show rebar instances that are physically placed within views on that specific sheet.

Category By Detail Type

Groups reinforcement based on the detail category, regardless of the sheet placement.

Structural By Level

Aggregates all rebar assigned to a specific floor level into a single master schedule.

Sheet & Viewport Formatting

Standardize naming conventions and title block components for automated sheet production.

Setting Description Example / Format
Sheet Title Prefix The static string prepended to the sheet name. REINFORCEMENT DETAIL -
Viewport Title Prefix The identifier used for individual view titles on the sheet. BEAM DETAIL or WALL ELEV
Elevation Viewport The Revit Viewport Type family used for elevations. Title w/ Line
Section Viewport The Revit Viewport Type family used for sections. Title w/ Line
