General Arrangement (GA) Generator
Automate the creation of fully annotated structural plans, including tagging, perimeter dimensioning, and standardized naming.
Generation Methods
Select how the system should source the views for processing. The tool adapts its interface based on your starting point.
Select project levels to generate fresh GA plans. The system creates a new structural plan for each level, optimized with project-specific templates.
Populates a list of existing views. Selecting these will create "Dependant" or "Independent" copies to be converted into GA standards.
Automatic Annotations
Upon creation, the engine executes the following documentation tasks automatically:
Smart Tagging
- Beams: Tags all Structural Framing based on Mark or Type parameters.
- Columns: Centers tags on all Structural Columns within the view range.
Periphery Dimensioning
Generates continuous dimension strings for perimeter Beams, Columns, and Grid intersections at the building envelope.
View Configuration

Ensure your View Template is pre-configured in the General Settings to allow the GA Generator to apply correct visibility graphics (e.g., hidden lines for beams below) immediately upon creation.
